App is not working properly. It does not acknowledge log on info

App doesn’t work

App is glitchy. Crashes and freezes, good luck changing your address or updating any sort of information when the app crashes almost every time you try to access your account. Even if you do manage to change your address it doesn’t go through on their end. Love the idea but would be great if the app was functional

Refunds/Cancelations

IPSY is actually horrible. They charged $40 from my account twice for the same month and I can’t get any of it back even though I don’t even want the box anymore and it wasn’t made or shipped yet. They’re very sneaky with their refund policy and if you pause your subscription or cancel it make sure you screenshot the confirmation email so they can’t keep charging you.

Ipsy is awesome way to learn how to use your products and get the best color matches ❣️ plus you can share with your friends! You can use products that you might never got a chance to try

Issues with New Update

The new update has made it impossible for me to go to anything other than the main page. If I click on my account or my points nothing pulls up and it freezes. I tried deleting the app and redownloading and logging back in but it didn’t do anything to help.

It was fun at first But at the end i wanted to cancel it and they was not letting me! I tried so many different ways to cancel it but they’re still letting me pay every month till now. This is very disappointing! And i really want to cancel it.

Saves your credit card info w/out asking for permission.

Beware! My credit card information was saved in the app without my permission. and I am unable to remove it without replacing it with new card information. even though I have cancelled my subscription. Plus, the card was replaced with a completely new card with a new number (after it was compromised), a number I have not given to or entered into my account yet somehow the account is still being charged to my brand new card. How you obtained this information is beyond me, but you have completely overreached and This is an absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible way to handle your customer’s information.

Torn

So I started Ipsy about six months ago and I really loved my first two icon boxes. Perfect. But then I started to get boxes of the same products but different brands. And the thing that was bothersome was my beauty profile I said I never used these items. Also I wasn't aware you could "pick" 3 items to be in the box until this past box. I feel like I just don't like the options. It seems like a lot of setting powders, random face washes and random eye shadow pallets. Over all I never ever got foundations, lipsticks, hair stuff, nail stuff. I just feel like I got the stuff they have too much of if that makes sense. I wish they could notify you when it's time to pick items. They don't. So to me that isn't very helpful . One more thing. Why never got any brands they have in ads like NARS, FENTY, and brands like that blows my mind. Half the boxes went to my teenage son because they were face soaps and toners. Just I wish IPSY just was better.

Not very useful

It was a good app but a little hard to set up. But I wanted to end my subscription but it was really hard to figure out and I couldn’t get my money back from unwanted purchases.

Horrible!

They don’t take your preferences you set into consideration at all! i have gotten a few good products but even with being able to choose 3 items with boxycharm, the products they let me choose from so far, near to all items i have said i will not use in my preferences. For example, i absolutely hate face powders and for the past 3 months one of the two products ipsy has chosen for me is facepowder. I asked for this as my only present for christmas as it is quite expensive for a year subscription. So far i have had maybe 3 products i will genuinely use over the past 5 months of having this subscription. For over 30$ a month, This has been one of the biggest wastes of money and as someone who has used this program twice for a year subscription i will NEVER be repurchase after my subscription expires. do not purchase their subscriptions as they will do little to nothing with your preferences you set. Even though i have overly sensitive skin, and have reactions quite commonly they keep giving most of my choices as cleansers, acne treatments, and serums. Many of my choices i have made were based off “what is the one thing in this list that i might touch once in the next 3 yrs instead of never even try it” i think that ipsy could be a great subscription service if they would actually pay attention to the wants/needs of their consumers but they couldn’t be farther from it. the only reason i wanted to sign up in the first place is so i could get a few liquid eyeliner brands to try and i haven’t even been given a option for 1. this subscription is practically a scam. DO BETTER

Recently

Ok I have had the glam bag subscription for like a year and it was great at first but now I swear all I get in the bag is eye-creams or other skincare/anti wrinkle stuff which just doesn’t fit my needs so it’s kinda really annoying. Is anyone else finding this to be true or just me??

App interrupts my music?

I have enjoyed Ipsy for a long time and recently rejoined. The only (small) complaint I have is that when I want to enjoy a video or music in the background while launching the app, it pauses/interrupts what I’m listening to. Is this a bug or maybe something that may be resolved in the future?

Annoying

I had upset maybe five years back and ended up cancelling because they gave me so much stuff I had listed that didn’t want I kept throwing everything away. I really wanted to try again and it’s the exact same thing. I’m getting so many face lotions, facial peels and facial creams that I have listed that I don’t want and that’s nearly all I’m getting I’m so frustrated! Why can’t they just listen to your preferences?!

It is pretty good

It is hard to find the product that are are looking for and there is no wishlist but there are some great deals

Don’t recommend

Not really happy with what they sent me the eye masks that came with it burnt my face as soon as I put it on and I had dry skin and redness the next couple days an I only got a couple things it was things I don’t even use l so, I don’t recommend!

Okay

I love the products and the subscription but the app is not great. I update it every time one comes out and the app is still glitchy. When I open the app it allows me to navigate to one area, like “account” but then when I try to navigate to anything else it freezes. So to do more than one thing in the app I have to close out and go back in. I really get frustrated with how poor the app works. I’d much rather go to the site. But, again, the subscription is wonderful!

Wish there was a human available!

I love Ipsy! I really really do. Buying and adding on is the best. It’s just super annoying that you can’t get actual help from a human! I’ve had to message them on IG which isn’t all bad but there should Be an easier way to get a hold of someone. This new update is annoying as well! I can’t even check out. So much for spending more money.

I was trying to login and it wouldn’t let me get when I was doing like my email and stuff. I wouldn’t let me like go on when I did everything correct put my address my password and everything like that but it didn’t let me one star

I have received another shipment although I cancelled my subscription?!

I downloaded and the day after it tried to charge me over $17 then after i logged out and deleted it it still tried to charge me.

Worst app ever

Everything I got was good, but I decided to cancel my subscription because I did not need it anymore, I went through my cancelation, followed every step like makeing sure it was before the 1st of the month, but after I canceled it still charged me and kept sending me Ipsy glam bags. They have no phone number to contact and glam bot is useless. My Ipsy bag came from the same account that said I have no subscription in place. So there scamming my money

Pls bring back the option to pick 3 items on you boxy charm!

Pls bring back the option to pick 3 out of 5 of the items in the boxycharm. It’s the whole reason I upgraded my subscription in the first place. I’m seriously contemplating canceling the subscription because it feels like a waste of money now because I get send 5 products I won’t use instead of picking the ones I will.

First time using Ipsy

I just got this subscription and I bought an add on item with my first bag but they never sent my add on I checked the “order history” and no order showed up first impressions already Bad… hope this isn’t a continuous thing because I really want to like ipsy

Terrible app

The app will not load my account in order for me to update any of my personal information. Very frustrating to not even be able to update my mailing address.

So much fun to get new stuff to try especially when you’re not a regular makeup wearer like me. It is helping me step outside my box and make explore how nice it feels taking care of yourself with a little pampering. Def recommend checking it out. And it’s not outrageously priced either. Buy this stuff on your own and it will be. Let Ipsy help you save money and have fun!

What’s wrong with this APP?!?

The app is terrible, has just frozen every single time I’ve opened and tapped more than a few times, regardless of what I’m trying to do.

Don’t do it

You don’t get personalized items like you used to. Prices go up every few months and they no longer give you bags with the order. Every reason I originally signed up for Ipsy is gone. I’ve been attempting to cancel my subscription and it hasn’t been working. With bills being paid out at the first of the month I had nothing left in the savings account it was attached to and it still billed me sending me into overdraft fees. Don’t waste your time and money on this

I closed my Ipsy account two months ago and I am still getting bank charges from Ipsy I would have given this a higher rating if it was not for the fact that I closed my account and my bank is still being charged

Love Ipsy but app is terrible

There needs to be a way to make a wishlist and also a way to filter out items that are sold out from being shown, or maybe they just should not be listed at all if they are sold out? It’s really annoying and pointless to show items that are no longer available. Ipsy needs to invest more into making their app better it needs to be completely redesigned. So clunky, slow, and not intuitive at all.

The products I get for the prices are unbeatable. Unfortunately this app has seen way better days. Everytime I try and log in it freezes. Everytime I go to add to my cart it freezes. Please fix these bugs

Scam

Everything is cheap and they don’t give you refunds and you can’t email and when you go to help you’re not able to type things and it just gives you options of like “Why is shipping weird” instead letting you type why did you charge me for something I canceled a month ago. Don’t listen to good reviews they are paid promotions.

How good is Ipsy?

I resided to try Ipsy and I loved it immediately. All the products I got were great for me and very affordable! I decided to keep my Ipsy subscription for a few years with no regrets!

I was told by people and advertisements that you would not have to pay for boxes. They said that they were totally free, and all you had to put in was your information, this is just a waste of time. Unless you are going to pay for it.

Love it but app has issues at times

I love the products I get and especially the fact that I can pause my subscription when I want to. But the app does glitch at times. Like I can’t always pick my three free items on time because it says I’m not a member but then right below it shows my box coming soon. There is no one to call to talk to just a generic robot to answer basic questions but nothing about technical issues

BEWARE!

I bought an item via shipping through a third party site they encouraged us to visit & gave us the coupon for. Well, the site seems to ended up being a scam (it never even made me an account it seems, no email, never a tracking number & they literally disabled it so I’m out money) where there is no customer support for this third party site (fake email). Well, I’ve contacted Ipsy numerous times, where they happily reply to have you buy more & make small talk to shop. But when it comes to an actual issue with money instead & that they may be connected to a huge scam, even promoting it. Silence. Not one response. They response are tip toed made up ignoring or just straight silence. Trust me, they’ll take your money & will let scammers too & when you have to dispute it at the bank, they stay silent, which again just leads to disputing it in silence with no response for them, unless it’s to buy some magical make up from them, they couldn’t care less it seems like. Beware, doesn’t seem like a normal or ethical company at all.

DO NOT GET THIS, it won’t let me cancel my membership and i have the almost 40$ one i’ve tried everything to make it cancel it and i can’t. Do not sign up for this

Great customer service and fun lil treat :)

I love opening this little gift from me to me every month and everytime I have a problem, (which has only happened twice ever) they were quick to fix it and give great customer service! I’ll get rid of Netflix when I need to but never Ipsy lol

They basically stole from me

I moved and put the new address in but it was sent to the last house so I asked Ipsy support for help and they said they could help me for my November Icon Box. After a few days after getting my December glam bag, I received my Icon box with not 8 items but 3. That upset me a bit, but what made me more upset was how they pulled out the email about this ticket so I couldn’t give the worker who helped me a review, I wanted to wait after everything came to me. So for the advisor to pull out the review from my email, or to unsend it, it makes me think they know they’ll keep my money and give me their scraps. I wouldn’t mind getting a box worth what I paid for before, but this is just malicious and capitalistic. I’ve had years worth of subscription from Ipsy but would still never recommend it to anyone, even for “5 free glam bags”. It’s so disappointing to trust something to give you what they think is best for you, but when you ask them for their attention instead of blindly giving them money and waiting for things you might end up giving away, they put on a smile and lie to your face. They knew they would send me less items so they took the email away. I’m upset about that because I used to work for a big bank and reviews were everything to keep their jobs and the center afloat. They’re cowards for erasing it from my end. Let me give my honest feedback so you can actually get better at understanding your customers wants and needs. I need make up wearers to know them and everyone they work with are just more CEO’s who get $500/hour (FOR WHAT WORK) to our minimum wage jobs. Like we just want to spoil ourselves with things like this and more shopping to just be happy but then sometimes you just get fkd like this.

big waste of money all junky items

I had an ipsy subscription three years ago, and then I canceled it because of how small and useless the items were. however, I re-bought the subscription and had it for about three months straight before canceling it again. The items are smaller than any other sample size item I see a Sephora. from every subscription bag I received, I was only able to use one of the five items they give me because they either didn't match my skin color or give me something I specifically said I don't want in the beauty, quizzes. Oh, also, the beauty quizzes are completely useless and you'll be out of almost $20 every month for five crappy make up items. they tell you you're getting variety of high quality beauty supplies but it's literally just a bunch of creams and moisturizers that are horribly rated on yuka.

I’ve had this subscription forever and up until now been satisfied being able to pause if traveling or just not having the fund but now I want to go to the account and it’s not letting me so frustrating because it’s been some days now I’ve deleted the app logged into it nothing is working

I tried canceling 20 times and they still charged me for the glam bag and we had to reset my account multiple times to cancel had to try for over 1 year to cancel please don’t get this app!!!
